Hi there, I got started in photography in 1973 when a co-worker in the U.S. Marines convinced me to buy an SLR camera. So it all began on Okinawa, I started photographing, developing and printing pictures. It became a serious hobby for many years to follow. In 2006 I joined "PPANE" Professional Photographers Association of New England and then "PPA" Professional Photographers of America. I have been attending photography schools sponsored by PPANE since joining. I was asked to be a free-lance photographer for the Springfield Republican Newspaper shortly after retiring from the Springfield MA Fire Department in Feb. of 2008. I love to be behind the camera capturing great images, it does not matter whether it is art, nature, portraits, sports or special events. I will take photographs of most anything for you (for the right price of course).
